The Department of Education invites responses for the provision of Priority Manager services and Priority Manager-Lead service for Australia’s Economic Accelerator (AEA) program in accordance with a Request for Tender.
The Australia's Economic Accelerator (AEA) Priority Manager Service and Priority Manager Lead Service tender (RFT) has been suspended as of 21 June 2024 as a complaint under section 18 of the Government Procurement (Judicial Review) Act 2018 has been received and a public interest certificate is not currently in force.
For technical reasons, the closing date for the RFT has been extended. However, whilst the RFT is suspended, suppliers should not submit responses and no responses, including clarification questions, will be considered until further notice. Suppliers will be notified of a revised closing date once the complaint has been resolved, withdrawn, or a public interest certificate is issued.
AEA Priority Managers are responsible for leading the Department of Education’s efforts in supporting translation and commercialisation activities aligned with national research translation and commercialisation priorities.
The AEA Priority Manager-Lead will oversee the Priority Managers in engaging with eligible universities and university colleges (applicants) on the grant application process, providing specialist research commercialisation advice to potential applicants as required, and assessing the strength of the grant applications’ commercialisation pathways, market potential and commercial viability.
Interested parties wishing to submit a proposal must apply prior to 16 June 2024 12:00 pm (ACT Local Time).
