Dr Angeline Achariya is a global leader in commercialising innovations in agribusiness industries and is the CEO of Innovation GameChangers. She holds board director roles with Wine Australia and Australian Institute of Food Science & Technology. Angeline is a senior advisor at Beanstalk Agtech and on its Drought Venture Studio, a federal government $10M investment to solve for future droughts.

Within her portfolio, Angeline is the Asia Pacific Chair of Food Systems Innovation & Resilience, G100 Mission Million and global council member with the World Agriculture Forum. Angeline holds over 25 years’ experience in multinational giants such as J R Simplot Mondelez International, Yum Brands, Fonterra, Mars Corporation and Monash University.

Angeline’s leadership impact in agrifood sectors was transformative when she co-founded Monash Food Innovation as a world first industry collaborative hub in Mondelez International with the Victorian Government. The hub’s impact continues today connecting industry, research, government, enabling SMEs, startups, and corporates to scale their innovations for profitable and sustainable growth in domestic and international markets. Angeline is an agribusiness trailblazer having commercialised more than 1200 innovations globally in agribusiness, fast-moving consumer goods, foodservice, ecommerce, and export pathways.

With a PhD in Food Systems and Technology at the University of Melbourne together with her agricultural upbringing, Angeline champions a sustainable food system. Beyond boardrooms, Angeline is an international speaker. Recognised by LinkedIn as a global top voice for her leadership and influence and by the Women Economic Forum as women of the decade in 2024. Her commitment to creating sustainable and profitable growth in industry and sector which resonate with consumers, and planetary needs makes her a force for positive change.

As a member of the AEA Advisory Board, Angeline brings expansive knowledge in agriculture and food innovation with skills in research translation and commercialisation.
